Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for AI and Digital Government
Feryal Clark was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology on Wednesday 9 July 2024. She was elected Labour MP for Enfield North in July 2024.  She studied Bioinformatics at the University of Exeter.  Parliamentary career  She was Shadow Minister for Crime Reduction from November 2023 to July 2024.  She was Shadow Minister for Health from September 2023 to November 2023.  She was Shadow Minister for Primary Care and Patient Safety from December 2021 to September 2023  Clark was elected as MP for Enfield North in the 2019 general election. Before this she was councillor for Brownswood ward in the London Borough of Hackney from 2006 until 2014 when she was elected for Hoxton East & Shoreditch ward. She rose to become the Deputy Mayor of Hackney and Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care, Leisure and Parks.
