Legal Director
Stephen Cave was appointed Legal Director at the Department for Transport in June 2022, having previously been DfT’s Deputy Legal Director since April 2022. Since leaving private practice as a solicitor, Stephen has worked in a number of legal roles in government, advising on transport, defence, justice and education matters. Between 2016-2019, Stephen was Digital Director at the Government Legal Department.
