Liam Orme

Liam Orme joined the GIAA in October 2016 and is the Operational Director for Economic and Business Affairs (EBA). EBA directorate covers audit services to the following Departments and arms-length bodies: Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, Department for Culture Media & Sport, Department for Transport, Department for Business & Trade, Department for Science, Innovation & Technology and HS2. He has a particular focus on continuous quality improvement. Liam is a qualified accountant and internal auditor with over 25 years’ experience of delivering internal audit, risk management and assurance services to a wide range of organisations across the private and public sectors. Previously, he has been the Group Chief Internal Auditor at the Home Office and Ministry of Justice and retains a keen interest in the criminal justice system.
