Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell is a British physiologist who served as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Manchester between 2010 and 2024. She was non-executive director of AstraZeneca between 2006 and 2015, and was previously co-chair of the Council for Science and Technology, as well as past president of the Royal Society of Biology. Nancy was awarded a damehood for her services to science in 2005.
