Marc Owen CBE
Senior Director of National and International Operations
Marc Owen is currently Director for Visa, Status and Information Services within UK Visas and Immigration. Marc is responsible for all visit, work, study, family, and settlement applications (including the Hong Kong British National (Overseas) route), as well as the Ukraine and EU Settlement Schemes. Marc has previously carried out a wide range of senior roles within the Border, Immigration and Citizenship System (BICS). In the 2016 New Year’s honours list, Marc was awarded an OBE for services to border security. In the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours list, Marc was awarded a CBE for public service.
