Alexandra Marks CBE has been announced as the new Chair of the Parole Board by the Secretary of State for Justice.

The Parole Board is an independent body that carries out risk assessments on prisoners to determine whether they can be safely released into the community. Parole Board is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice .
