Alan Morris
Construction Delivery Director
Alan has over 38 years’ experience in delivery of complex heavy civil engineering mega-projects – the majority of which has been in delivery of new build railway projects from design through to operations. Alan joined HS2 in 2025 and is the Executive Director responsible for Construction Delivery of Civils (tunnels, viaducts, cuttings, embankments etc) and Stations between Birmingham and London. In addition, Alan is also responsible for Utilities and Logistics for the project. Before joining HS2, Alan was the Construction Director for a number of successfully delivered railway projects (Metros, Interurban, Freight and High Speed) in the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia. Alan has a degree in Civil Engineering and is a Chartered Civil Engineer (C.Eng) and Fellow of The Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE).
