Dr Sharon Hillier is Director of the Screening Division, Public Health Wales. In April 2011, she was appointed as a consultant in Public Health and Deputy Director of Screening Division, Public Health Wales. In April 2018 she was appointed to the position of Director of Screening on a permanent basis. She leads the division which delivers and develops the 7 population-based screening programmes across Wales and the all-Wales clinical network for antenatal screening. Sharon was appointed Chair of the UK NSC’s Fetal Maternal Child Health reference group in 2018, having previously been chair of the Bloodspot Advisory Group.
