Chief Delivery Officer
Dr Tim Sheldon became Dstl ’s Chief Delivery Officer in April 2024. Tim has a range of experience working across defence. He’s worked in the following areas within MOD : Defence Procurement Agency MOD Head Office Defence Evaluation and Research Agency ( DERA ) Defence Communications Services Agency ( DCSA ) Defence Logistics Organisation Defence Equipment and Support ( DE&S ) Submarine Delivery Agency ( SDA ) In 2018, he became the Head of the Astute Submarine Production team before moving in 2020 to become Director of Submarine Acquisition; responsible for the acquisition of all future Royal Navy submarines including the Astute, Dreadnought and SSN AUKUS programmes. Tim has a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
