Transformation Director
Erin Robinson took on the role of Transformation Director at Department for Science, Innovation and Technology ( DSIT ) following the Machinery of Government ( MoG ) changes announced in June. She is working to create ‘Future DSIT ’ and overseeing the programme that will ensure we have the right skills, capability, structure and systems to deliver our purpose and objectives: accelerating innovation, technology for good, and modern digital government. This includes overseeing the MoG changes to bring the Government Digital Services into DSIT . Erin is an experienced civil servant who has held several leadership positions in government, including Chief Operating Officer at Government Digital Service ( GDS ) as well as roles in Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice, HM Revenue & Customs and the Department for Business and Trade (formerly known as the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills). She brings her significant cross-functional expertise in policy, operational leadership and finance to drive operational excellence and build inclusive and high-performing cultures.
