Jerome has been Director General for the Ministry of Justice’s Policy and Strategy Group since November 2020. Jerome first joined the MOJ in 2016, and has served as Principal Private Secretary to the Lord Chancellor, Director of Strategy and Director of Prison Policy. Prior to joining the Ministry of Justice, Jerome worked at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, leading on domestic climate change strategy. His career includes stints in finance and operations at the BBC, and in investment banking at Lazard & Co.
