Martin Walkingshaw

Chief Operating Officer
Martin Walkingshaw is accountable for Operations and Programmes across Nuclear Waste Services. He was appointed to the Board of LLW Repository Ltd in 2011 and RWM Ltd in 2022, now a member of the Board of Nuclear Waste Services Ltd. He established LLW Repository Ltd’s Waste Management Services team, providing support to UK waste producers in their efforts to implement the waste management hierarchy, successfully preserving capacity at the UK’s national radioactive waste repository. Martin started his career in 1982 as an engineering apprentice with British Nuclear Fuels Ltd. Over the next 25 years he held a variety of roles at the Sellafield site, gaining experience in Spent Fuel reprocessing, Intermediate and High Level Waste management. Martin left Sellafield to join the team at LLWR in 2006, just before the organisation separated from British Nuclear Group Ltd to become a standalone nuclear site licence company. He rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Nuclear Waste Services upon its formation.

Important Currently there are no organisations setup to have a parent, and this query returns all the organisations. We may need to do a custom SQL query to properly look this up so that it only returns a value if there is something set.
