Natasha Chick

Director of Enforcement, Business and International Directorate
Natasha Chick is the Enforcement, Business and International Director at the Intellectual Property Office ( IPO ). She has over two decades of experience in the civil service, specialising in intellectual property, economic policy, and public service transformation. Natasha began her career as a patent examiner before moving into senior policy and operational leadership roles across patents, trade marks, and designs. She played a leading role in shaping the UK’s approach to IP during Brexit. Prior to her current role, Natasha led the IPO ’s major transformation programme, delivering new digital services and driving cultural and organisational change. Her leadership helped position the IPO as a modern, customer-focused organisation. Natasha has also held roles in the predecessor to the Department of Business and Trade, and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office ( FCDO ), including as secondee to Denmark on economic policy.
