Rob Eason
DBS Board Member
Rob Eason has been a Non-Executive Director of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Board since February 2025. Rob has a public sector career background in science & technology and managing large defence projects and contracts. He started his career at the RAF Institute of Aviation Medicine in 1987 and subsequently held various defence equipment project management and technology leadership roles in the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. After a 3 year posting to the British Embassy in Washington DC as Counsellor Defence Acquisition and Technology, Rob joined the Board of FCDO Services (a trading fund of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) where, as Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, he led the creation and delivery of IT services to a wide range of HMG customers. With a career based in leadership, operational delivery and technology, Rob is an advocate for promoting innovation and innovative thinking driven through inclusive organisations.
