Sarah was appointed Executive Director of Local Operations at the Environment Agency in November 2023. Sarah was Chief Operating Officer between August and November 2023. Sarah has had a wide range of roles at The Environment Agency, and its predecessor, the National Rivers Authority. Following an early career in fisheries, Sarah has: led the National Enforcement Service led national work on Agriculture, Fisheries and Biodiversity been Head of Operations, Director Incident Management & Resilience been Director Operations for South East & East England - where she held the national portfolio of work for environment, place and infrastructure Most recently she has been Executive Director of Local Operations.
