Sir Simon Lister
Non-Executive Director
Simon has extensive experience of complex procurement programmes and change leadership from senior government roles at the Ministry of Defence. Operating at board level, Simon has led serial improvements in the naval procurement and support sector, through organisational and cultural change, commercial renegotiation and supply chain performance management. He’s a graduate of the Sloan Fellowship, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and a graduate of the Major Projects Leadership Academy. Simon stepped down from the Office for Nuclear Regulation’s (ONR) board in November 2022, after four and a half years as a Non-Executive Director, to take up a role on the Board as a Non-Executive Director at Sellafield Ltd.
