Vicky Bennett
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Vicky is currently General Counsel and Company Secretary for Nuclear Waste Services, heading up the Legal, Governance and Business Support Directorate. Vicky became a legal adviser to LLW Repository Ltd in 2017 and was formally appointed Company Secretary in 2020 when she also became Head of Legal. The role provided broad experience of nuclear issues within a public sector context and she managed a wide portfolio of legal, corporate, governance, property, insurance, IP and commercial matters. Vicky qualified as an employment lawyer with a large national law firm in 2002 and worked for various commercial and public sector clients, developing and managing a team of lawyers and support staff. Alongside her professional career she chairs a local multi academy trust.
